Earlier this week, leaked images of a very Brown Asus GeForce RTX 3070 Noctua Edition were discovered, leading to speculation as to whether we'll see it any time soon. Asus has officially announced the Noctua cooling specialist team, introducing the Asus GeForce RTX 3070 Noctua Edition along with an overclocked version, the 3070 Noctua OC Edition, which will be released this month.

One thing Noctua is known for, along with its excellent design and engineering team who deliver high quality air conditioning products, is the brown/beige color scheme. Some users may resent non-standard and non-traditional colors that are rarely combined with other colors on their computer, so avoid Noctua and look elsewhere. Others swear by the design and ASUS went a step further and worked with Noctua to develop the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card into one of the coolest and quietest air-cooled RTX 3070 on the market.

The special thing about this unique-looking GPU is the large 2.3-slot heat sink and two NF-A12x25 fans. This results in a 10 dB lower sound pressure level, which keeps the Noctua quieter than your average GPU and ensures decent airflow. I can already see which funky wooden computer case this GPU utilizes in Noctua's signature brown color scheme.

"By using our NF-A12x25 fans and tuning the heatsinks together for use with them, this card achieves a significant performance boost from performance to noise level," said Roland Mosig, CEO of Noctua, in a statement about the features of the NF-A12x25 fan and The heat sink of the Asus GeForce GPU series is added.
